The Evolution of Excellence
Founded in 2009, the firm went a strategic transformation in 2013 to better reflect its uncompromising trajectory. Reborn as The Construction Company (TCC), the name was chosen as a definitive statement of intent: a professional, no-illusion powerhouse dedicated to the technical realization of New Zealand’s most ambitious architectural residences.
We do not follow the traditional volume-builder mindset, instead a boutique partnership model. We don’t just execute blueprints; we act as the critical bridge between visionary design and structural reality.
However, mastery of the build was only the first chapter. We witnessed how even the most exquisite architectural homes begin to decay without specialized oversight. To solve this, we crafted our Maintenance division designed to care for every residence through its entire lifecycle. We don't just build for today; we preserve the integrity of the investment forever
Direct Executive Oversight
Luxury is often lost in layers of middle management. At TCC, we operate as an uncompromised, direct delivery model. Our Founder and managing director, William Denysschen, maintains a direct, front-line project management over every residence within our portfolio.
As a qualified builder, Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP), and site safe member, William personally embodies the vision, starting every project by deeply understanding the architect’s intent and the client’s true vision and expectations. This executive leadership ensures that the vision required for high end architectural forms is never diluted.
“We focus on a select number of high-stakes commissions each year to ensure that my personal oversight is present at every critical junction. We don't just manage projects; we aim to cultivate legacies."
William Denysschen, Managing Director

We focus on providing the highest level of workmanship while maintaining fiscal precision and timeline discipline.
We develop honest, long-term relationships with our clients, architects, and specialized subcontractors. We understand that an architectural residence is a significant capital investment, our role is to secure that investment through a culture of rigorous oversight, innovate solutions and absolute accountability.
What do our clients have to say about us?
“One never sees a bad “reference” on anyone’s website and the fact is also that most people only ever built one or two houses in their lifetime, on which to make a judgement. What is significant therefore, is that I found without fail that the sub-suppliers, who deal with dozens of builders, consistently rated TCC as the best company they had ever dealt with, in all the above-mentioned aspects.”
— D. Allen“I had seen William’s work previously and was very impressed so hunted him down. We are developers with $150m + of residential development under construction this year, William would be the top of the builders I have dealt with I personally strongly recommend William.”
— J. Sax“TCC’s onsite staff and foreman were always accessible. The site was always maintained to a high standard with great care taken to be considerate of neighbors. William Denysschen was continuously involved in the project, from breaking ground to completion. He obviously takes great pride in his company and its work, and this is reflected in the high quality to which our builds were completed”
